I imagined my family escaping Armageddon on a magical train, carrying our favorite foods. In my artwork, our postures and clothing reveal our unique personalities and roles. My mom's beak mask shows her role of the family peacemaker; I expose my ribs, reflecting others' comments that I was skinny; my sister Yoyo's devil horns represent her naughtiness; my dad was catching the train, showing how he tend to prioritize the rest of us. I found it interesting to combine various materials and create a comic painting that reflects family dynamics.
